Full Stack Web Developer

Location: Toronto

Type: 2-Year Contract  

Our client, a leading organization within the public sector, has asked Bagg Technology Resources to assist them in finding a Full Stack Web Developer to join their reputable organization on a long-term contract in downtown Toronto. The Full Stack Web Developer will be working collaboratively to translate complex, real-world problems into scalable software.

Key Responsibilities for Full Stack Web Developer:

  • Work on the overall architecture of the web application
  • Work on a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application
  • Construct reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimization of the application for maximum speed 
  • Work on security and data protection
  • Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
  • Work on the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements for Full Stack Web Developer:

  • 3 years development experience across all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Strong Java or Javascript development background.
  • Extensive automation and Unit testing background.
  • Source code control systems such as Git, Mercurial etc.
  • Strong SQL and NoSQL experience.
  • Previous experience with Cloud and/or PAAS based development.
  • Experience working within Agile environments.
  • Experience with Docker or other container management and orchestration platforms (openshift/kuberentes, etc..)
