Our client, a major organization within the Public Sector, has asked Bagg Technology Resources to assist them in finding a seasoned Project Manager to join their esteemed organization on a contract basis in Toronto. The Project Manager will provide expertise on the revamp of the company’s financial reporting packages by improving reporting and forecasting capabilities, also working with various stakeholders to reconfigure the Oracle System.

Key Responsibilities for Project Manager:

  • Review current processes and reporting packages at various management levels
  • Design and build reports and packages, leverage information from the tools
  • Design new standardize and streamlined processes and reports for:
    • accounts receivables and payables, including reporting for executive review (e.g. Reporting should include by Transit Agency by month by expense type)
    • inventory management processes and reporting (including quantity and dollar reconciliation)
    • Standard monthly reporting packages financial reports (operating, capital, workforce plan) including commitment accounting principles and variance analysis and dashboards
    • General Ledger/Transaction listings for detailed aspects of packaging
  • Ensure appropriate controls and checks are within each document/package
  • Ensure that the processes are simplified
  • Other duties as required 

Requirements for Project Manager:

  • Minimum of 10+ Years of forecasting and reporting to government and/or executive team
  • Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion
  • Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (Mandatory)
  • Self-starter and can work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools
  • Comfort with complexity and ambiguity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Accounting Designation CPA (CA, CGA, CMA)
  • MBA degree would be an asset
  • Qlik Sense skills would be an asset
