Systems Application Support Administrator

Our client has asked Bagg Technology Resources to assist them in finding a Systems Administrator to join their dynamic organization on a contract basis. There is a possibility for the position to become a permanent role for the right candidate. The Systems Administrator will ensure that operating systems, software and related procedures adhere to the organization’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide internal information technology support and updates
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to employees
  • Troubleshoot errors and fix system issues via periodic testing, help desk tickets, and other methods
  • Perform security and quality control testing
  • Assess and document the requirements of end-users
  • Assign user names and passwords for employees and reset as required
  • Provide orientation to new users of existing technology
  • Analyze complex business needs presented by the user community and/or customers/clients and recommend technical solutions
  • Set up monitoring of the computer system to prevent any unauthorized access by employees during the workday
  • Assist with the planning, and implementation of projects
  • Plan, write, modify, and test website related code
  • Other duties as required


  • Must have CRM transportation experience  
  • Degree or diploma in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or a field related to the industry
  • Three years of related experience
  • Certifications or licenses appropriate to industry; supply chain, International trade, business
  • Complete understanding of the North American transportation industry including highway (domestic and cross border), intermodal and logistics
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical members of the organization
  • Strong analytical and planning skills combined with the ability to coordinate the efforts of many to meet organizational goal
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships amongst cross function team
  • Familiarity with various programming languages and development platforms(mobile)
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
  • Sound knowledge of the full SDLC methodology
