Infrastructure Sourcing Specialist

Location: Toronto

Type: 16 Months Contract

Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, has asked Bagg Technology Resources to assist them in finding an Infrastructure Sourcing Specialist to join their reputable organization on a long-term contract in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and participate in the following RFP process
  • Interact with key stakeholders including infrastructure team, contract management team, procurement team, and external consultants
  • Construction of technical requirements
  • Request, collect, and review feedback from stackholders.
  • Evaluation and selection
  • Contract and supplier onboarding
  • Create and assist status updates to leadership with clearly articulated risks, assumptions, issues, and dependancies
  • Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate leadership skills to achieve high performance and excellent service
  • Possible travel and variable hours
  • Other duties as required


  • 10+ years IT experience including procurement of enterprise infrastructure technologies
  • Core Infrastructure (Compute, Storage, Network)
  • Cloud technologies (Public and Private)
  • Assist with Hosting
  • Infrastructure Operations
  • Infrastructure Migration
  • Prior experience with 1 of the following infrastructure platforms (Windows, Linux, UNIX, Mainframe)
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts.
  • Understand the marketplace and operating model for oursourced infrastructure services
  • Excellent project, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills (will assist with various project documentation including business cases, briefing notes, action plans, executive summaries, technical reports etc.)
  • Professional interpersonal skills including negotiation, consulting, and customer-service.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts.
  • 10 years of experience constructing IT Infrastructure technologies, including the procurement of hardware, software, and services from external suppliers.
