Professional Services Account Executive

Our client, a cutting-edge software business solutions organization, has asked Bagg Technology Resources to assist them in finding a Professional Services Account Executive to join their innovative organization on a permanent full time basis. The Professional Services Account Executive will directly report to the VP of Sales. S/he will schedule calls and follow-ups, conduct BD research, and manage accounts. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-directed, self-motivated, and has experience managing accounts within the IT services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule calls and follow-ups (30 - 40%): 

  • Act as a main point of contact for handling customer business needs 
  • Participate in warm-lead first calls where goal is to generate interest and capture key 
  • requirements. Complete follow-up calls 
  • Develop leads and build a pipeline of new customers while retaining the existing ones 
  • Help originate sales opportunities and take them through to successful closure 
  • Make direct dial sales calls 
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales to report on P&L and account forecasts for incremental sales 
  • Achieve Professional Services contract sales targets and forecasts 
  • Schedule and execute follow-up and check-in tasks with EOD (Experts-on-demand) clients. 

Conduct BD Research (20 - 30%): 

  • Using various tools/lead sources, research, identify and qualify leads, continue to build and 
  • update contact lists 
  • Work closely with the client to identify business requirements, define service requirements for 
  • new services and advice on solutions to business requirements, and plan services to be delivered 
  • to organizations and their users 
  • Liaise and coordinate efforts with outsourced BD teams ensuring lists and activity reporting are 
  • accurate, and resolving any issues 
  • Ensure adoption and compliance with delivery methods and standards 
  • Manage client expectations in conjunction with the NetSuite Consulting Lead or Technical 
  • Services Lead to commit to the scope of work, schedule, and cost for the work and drive 
  • incremental revenue growth through further expansion of footprint at client 

Account Management (15 - 25%): 

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term relationship with clients 
  • Liaise with EOD consulting teams to track and monitor key client issues. Perform contract 
  • renewals 
  • Develop a trusted client relationship as an advisor for key accounts/customer stakeholders 
  • Respond to RFPs around specific, approved opportunities. Manage the SOW & provide status 
  • updates to clients for the incremental work sold 
  • Leverage industry expertise to influence client in resourcing strategies 
  • Participate in Account planning and forecasting activities 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in conflict and negotiation management 
  • Develop a deep understanding of competitive products/services to obtain benefits and improvise 
  • internally 
  • Track, analyze and monitor customer’s usage of our products/services; prepare reports to 
  • improve our focus on the successful ones 

Conduct marketing efforts (10 - 20%): 

  • Oversee email campaigns, monitor interactions with contacts, plan and execute new campaigns 
  • Creating opportunities to meet new people via attending networking events 
  • Expand our work in new areas of the client’s business through new offerings and services 
  • through approved contracting approaches 
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or MBA degree 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with strong sales, delivery, relationship management and 
  • account management experience in the IT services industry 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling professional/technical services 
  • Extensive work experience in a services delivery center and client sites 
  • Proven capability to building relationships with CXO/Director/VP level client contacts 
  • Knowledge of industry specific products, services and solutions 
  • Deep experience with NetSuite, or other ERP/financial solutions
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Office Suite, Google apps, LinkedIn, Facebook or other social media 
  • sites 
  • Hands-on experience with proposal/RFP creation and leading RFP/proposal presentations 
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience 
  • Ability to work independently in building pipeline of new potential customers 
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time, while maintaining quality of customer service 
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines 
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills 
  • Excellent listening, presenting and negotiating skills 
  • Driven and self-motivated personality, with the ability to provide self-direct work 
  • Demonstrate active listening in order to deliver excellent customer service experience 
  • Good understanding of industry specific business issues and drivers 
  • Proven experience in a rapidly growing account 
  • Travel is required – 25-30% - Canada and USA
