Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Middleware installation, configuration and maintenance

Requirements

  • Administration of WAS, MQ, MQ Broker, Directory server, HTTP Server
  • Knowledge of WebSphere and MQ configurations
  • Understanding of SSL and knowledge of setting up secure communication between WAS and MQ components
  • Strong understanding of High Availability concept and architecture.
  • Automation of middleware processes such as start/stop, monitoring, automated deployments of applications
  • Strong organizational, documentation skills and desire for continuous process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC
  • Application Production support experience is highly desired

Requirements:

  •  8-10 years of consulting experience, ideally as a Business Architect/Solutions Architect

Requirements

  • 5+ years of continuous experience working with high-performing technical and business teams on large-scale, strategic Enterprise Data Management projects.
  • Extensive experience in investigating operational and analytical data lineage and documenting information assets.
  • Must be detailed oriented conducting macro-level analysis of documented lineage flows across and between business processes, systems and data elements.
  • Strong analytical skills and industry expertise on extrapolating business rules and data rules from legacy systems is also a must.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior technical data analyst advising Senior Management and implementing (end-to-end from initial data mapping to cutover to legacy decommissioning) at least two, multiyear large-scale enterprise data projects in the fields of Master Data Management, Enterprise Data Warehousing, or Big Data Analytics in some combination of Public Sector, Insurance, and Banking.
  • Minimum 5 years of continuous experience in preparing technical project artifacts such as data-centric solution design documents, implementation strategy decks, data risk assessments, data security and infrastructure design as well as business focused deliverables such as business data requirements, data acceptance testing, data governance and stewardship requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical role with IBM Information Server Information Governance Catalog or working with automated data lineage solutions.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with code scanning (primarily Cobol/JCL), code flow, data lineage, and metadata tools
  • Working knowledge of Information Server Manager and Fastrack is an asset as is experience working with Mainframe, SAS, SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle.
  • Working knowledge of business rule mining, categorization, etc., as it relates to IBM Information Governance Catalog – IGC is preferred.

  • Identify divergences from plan as established by the project team and communicate related issues and opportunities.
  • Maintain business relationships in order to provide accurate reporting.
  • Regularly provide risk assessments, analyzing schedule disruptions and determining root cause.
  • Identify strategies for catching up lost time or avoiding potential delays and opportunities to accelerate completion of the work. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise and day to day direction/assistance to others in the development of schedule related methodologies, standards and global coding and mentors others in the proper use of standards, techniques and scheduling modalities.
  • Lead the review of the schedule and status of the plans during all phases of the assigned projects.
  • Participate in the development of standards, procedures and master schedules to support all functional groups in successful delivery of projects.  

Requirements

 Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years planning/scheduling capacity, experience with software development lifecycle would be an asset
  • Full understanding of the critical path methodology in schedule development and sequencing
  • Post-secondary education in construction, software development, project management or other relevant programs.

Skills:

  • Solid foundation in project control concepts (WBS, CPM-based, earned value management and cost collecting, risk assessment)

The Systems Engineer will perform the tasks and duties to maintain a global system of servers and storage that hosts the client’s applications. The Systems Engineer will respond to support requests and incidents, troubleshoot to resolution and investigate root cause analysis.  They will recommend technical configurations and operations procedures to continually improve the performance of the client’s systems. The Systems Engineer will provide reports on the health of the server infrastructure, including security compliance and capacity management. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, manage and support the client’s server and storage infrastructure to support business applications
  • Configure, manage and support server and storage hardware and firmware by designing standard configurations, maintaining currency, updating inventory and configuration databases, and responding to requests and incidents

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of operational experience working as a Systems Engineer in a mostly Windows Server environment
  • Ability to independently perform system support responsibilities for environment build and maintenance, on call support and change requests including outside of business hours
  • Expert knowledge of Windows server 2003 – 2016, Microsoft MCSE (Server Infrastructure) certification is an advantage
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure – GPO management, OU structure management, multiple geographically dispersed domain controller management
  • Excellent knowledge of VMWare vCenter (5.1, 5.5, 6.5), certification is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Citrix Presentation server 4.5 and XenApp (5.0, 7.6), certification is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience of storage management (Netapp and EMC preferred)
  • Good experience working with Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS)
