EFO Digital Transformation Manager

Type: 12-Month Contract

Location: Toronto

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging with key client stakeholders to understand the business needs driving innovation and digitalization
  • Synchronizing business needs with the overall solutions considering the people, process, technology interactions necessary for successful implementations
  • Incorporating the overall business vision and strategy and technology direction with digital strategy
  • Working with internal staff and partners to develop & execute a roadmap and plan for realizing the vision and strategy
  • Formulate execution plans that balance technology investment with risk and benefit thereby providing value through targeted improvement in processes and operations
  • Establishing business and solution functional requirements definitions through stakeholder engagement and workshopping
  • Managing the program / project and the various internal and external stakeholders inclusive of scope, budget and timeline management.
  • Development of the capabilities (functions, organization / people, processes) required by the business’ Digital Transformation Strategy
  • Manage relationships with key partners including vendors and suppliers
  • Coach / Mentor others to bridge the technology skills gap within the team
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • 5+ years of managing and leading technology transformation projects
  • Demonstrated understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project approaches including agile methodology
  • Formal training or certification in Project Management
  • Experience in organizational change management with a proven track record of leading change that impacted efficiencies and ROI
  • Strong business acumen and planning, change management, team leadership, meeting management and facilitation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and the advanced ability to influence others, structuring and presenting documents to effectively communicate with and inspire trust of cross-functional partners and management to drive alignment and decision making
  • Exceptional collaborator and communicator
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Holistic problem-solving skills including the ability to structure, analyze, and resolve complex problems quickly and easily
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects at once in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
  • Ability to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility when faced with ambiguity or change
