Security Analyst- 1 Year Contract

Location: Mississauga

 

Our client, a major organization within the financial industry, has asked Bagg Technology Resources to assist them in finding a Security Analyst to join their team on a contractual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administration, monitoring and maintenance of the Client’s information Security environments.
  • Implement and maintain information security components in accordance with the established procedures.
  • Provide first level support for all Identity and Access Management related issues.
  • Liaise will all levels of the organization and clients to ensure compliance with Organization and Client standards and procedures.
  • Key support role to Senior Security Specialist responsible for administration of User Login Ids and their associated roles/privileges across all platforms for both internal users and external clients
  • Assist with implementation and support of information security solutions.
  • Support information security implementation for major application rollouts.
  • Assist with information gathering across all regions
  • Work with site security staff and project teams
  • Document and maintain information security support processes
  • Perform security administration and monitoring for designated systems and resources.
  • Administer access for centralized systems
  • Maintain host, network and subsystem access control lists
  • Review audit logs and reports and follow-up as required
  • Provide first level support for information security services problems.
  • Track information security problems through to resolution
  • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved within acceptable time frames

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of information systems experience in an administrative or security role.
  • Basic understanding of the main computing platforms such as Active Directory, Databases, Exchange, Lotus Notes
  • Good understanding of Information Security Policies, Standards, Practices and Principles such as Confidentiality, Integrity, Authentication, Privacy, and Security Administration.
  • Familiarity with IT General Controls
  • Previous IT Auditing experience is an asset
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Team player, self?motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
